iPower Slow MySql

Ever since the transition, my PHP/MySql site has been so slow as to be unusable. I get on their online support thing to enter a problem, and the guy from around the world checks it out at 4:00am Monday morning US time. Says it's working fine.

Of course, my reply of, "Try testing it during normal business hours in the US" was left unanswered, but I need to move to someone else.

I have a simple wordpress blog. It takes 30-57 secondes to have the home page appear. The administration panel in wordpress takes about a minute to change from one page to another.
I decided to move the blog to doreo.com

iPower Slow MySql

I've tried my hand with livechat, I prepared these talking notes below to drop on them during the chat. They sent it to tech, and said they will get back to me in 24-48 hrs. I have my chat saved and documented and will send the whole thing into the bbb after 2 days.........

my wordpress pages have been experiencing severely long load times. This is not a wordpress issue as I've researched that this is a common problem with Ipower and there slow MySql servers. I want to know when this issue will be resolved as I am losing customers and will soon be forced to switch hosts and file a complaint to the bbb. I have been patient with Ipower over the past 5 months, but now due to the recent website down times and extremely slow load (30-40 second average per wordpress page) times I can not wait.

Your website clearly states " Our four world-class quality Tier 1 Internet Data Centers are optimized to provide an industry-leading web, data, and applications hosting environment." At this time this statement is false, and apparently by many fraudulent due to the reported poor customer service and response times on many websites. Your site also mentions " IPOWER, Inc., The Power Behind eBusiness, is the world's leading eBusiness Website Hosting provider. Our Internet based end-to-end solutions enable small and medium sized enterprises (SME's) to build, promote, manage and profit from their online presence......." Right now I am losing money and customers due to your server problems and poor support.

I am looking for an accurate response on when your server issues will be resolved.

It's very annoying! I am using ipower as a server for a Facebook application and the application is totally unusable because Facebook requires the response from the server within 8 seconds. Otherwise it times out. After conversion to the "new state of the art vdeck 3.0" system, MySQL queries are so slow that requests take way longer than 8 seconds to respond.

I contacted customer service and they are aware of this problem. They said that they are in the process of adding more MySQL servers, but they could not tell me the exact timeframe when this problem will be fixed.

It's October and here I am still with the same issues you all have mentioned,not to mention so much more. I am having issues with Joomla sites and have been told everything from, there is nothing wrong, to we are aware and are working on it, to blaming my sites for the problem.

I think what they're trying to tell you, is that if your website makes use of MYSQL or suchlike, they don't want you as a customer. I figured this out about 6 months ago, left for another hosting company, and have had happy days ever since.
